Pastor Craig Caster is the founder and director of Family Discipleship Ministries. He began as a lay minister at Calvary Chapel El Cajon working with married couples and youth ministry in 1985. At that point in his life, Craig was the vice president of a large developing company in San Diego, California. Early in the year of 1992, the Lord began to reveal the vision for the ministry of FDM, and, in January of 1993, Craig left his career for full-time ministry. Pastor Mark has worked with Family Discipleship Ministries since 1998. As an associate pastor for over twenty years he has discipled hundreds of families and continues to do so. Mark also spent 8 years working with hundreds of men at San Diego Rescue Mission as a pastor/counselor/teacher and did the family classes. His formal education consists of a BA and MA degrees in Biblical Studies from Southern California Seminary, and a MA in Biblical Counseling fromThe Master’s College, and is currently completing his Doctorate of Ministry (DMin) degree at Talbot School of Theology, which is part of Biola University. He has been happily married since 1994, has two adult daughters who are married and one grandchild, Owen who is 3 years old.
Miguel spent 28 years serving in Law Enforcement in the state of California. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies and is currently studying at Southern California Seminary to earn his Master’s Degree in Science and Religion. Since 2010, Miguel has traveled internationally, teaching at Family Leadership and Training Conferences with FDM, serving as our International Outreach Pastor. Miguel also currently serves as a Deacon at Shadow Mountain Community Church.
